Ch.13

       This chapter was very informational to me because I did not know a lot about the events that were mentioned in this chapter. A lot happened like the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople was a huge event and the conquest of the Aztec Empire. I also learned that the Europeans had a lot of advantages during this time and they were conquering the Americas. In this chapter some significant events that made a lot of things changed was the Columbian Exchange and the Great Dying and the Little Ice Age. The Great Dying was a set of diseases in the old world that was known as The Great Dying due to the Columbian Exchange. These various diseases killed 90% of the Native American population. The diseases that killed the Native Americans consisted of small pox and measles.  And the Little Ice Age was a period of cooling that occurred after the Medieval Warm Period. That is what I thought that was interesting.
